Description and identification

Perennial herbaceous plant. Flowering stems 30-100 cm high. Flowering May-July¹.

Habitat

Shady wooded places, scrub and forest glades².

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the floristic regions: Western and Middle Rhodope Mountains, Rila, Stara Planina, Western Border Mountains and Znepole region; between 1000 and 2000 meters altitude³.

Austria; Bosnia and Herzegovina; Bulgaria; Croatia; Greece (Greece (mainland)); Hungary; Italy (Italy (mainland)); North Macedonia; Romania; Serbia; Slovenia; Ukraine⁴.
