NOT protected species in Bulgaria.


Description and identification

Chamois Ragwort is a perennial, 10-40 cm long. Leaves more or less leathery, gray-green in fresh condition, on either side glabrous or with sparse to moderately dense short glandular and sparse web-like hairs, on the edge and midrib below with short glandular hairs. Flowering July-August[1].


Distribution in Bulgaria

In mountains Sredna Stara Planina, Vitosha, Rila, Pirin, from 1700 to 2800 m alt[2].


General distribution

Central and Southern Europe[3].
