Description and identification

Аn annual herbaceous plant.

Flowering July-October¹.

Habitat

In damp and marshy sandy and gravelly places along the banks of rivers, streams, lakes, swamps, ponds, microdams and other water bodies, in swampy and marshy meadows, on damp forest paths; along roads, ditches, wadis, trenches, ditches and irrigation canals; often as a weed in rice fields, in some trench crops and in vegetable gardens².

Throughout the country to 1000 m altitude³.
