Herbaceous dioecious perennial plant, 40 to 150 cm tall.

Habitat

Moist grassy places, in meadows, scrub, forest glades and thinned forests, and sometimes as a weed in fields and gardens².

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the whole country; to 1000 meters altitude³.
