Teucrium polium L.

NOT protected species in Bulgaria.

А subshrub. Height 0,1 to 0,4 m. The leaves are opposite. The flowers are combined into flower heads. Flowering April-August¹.

Dry calcareous and silicate rocks, on sands and seaside rocks².

It is distributed throughout the country from sea level to 1000 m altitude³.

Central (eastern parts) and Southeast Europe, the Mediterranean, Southwest Asia⁴.
