Description and identification

Annual herbaceous plant.

The stem is 30 - 120 cm long.

Sepals 4 to 6 cm long, sometimes up to 10 cm, often equal to or longer than the leaflets.

Flowering May-July2.


Habitat

According to literature data, in addition to being a cultivated plant in Bulgaria, it also grows as a weed in crops, but the author of the photos posted here found it growing in a natural habitat - sparse forest and bushes on a steep slope3.
