Conservation status and threats

NOT protected species in Bulgaria.


Description and identification

Herbaceous perennial plant. Stems 5 to 15 cm long. Flowers are 12-18 mm across. The ovary with three styles. Flowering June-August[1].


Habitat

Wet meadows and along snowdrifts[2].


Distribution in Bulgaria

In the mountains of Rila, Pirin, Rhodope, Vitosha, Stara planina; between 2000 and 2900 meters above sea level[3].
