Iberis sempervirens is a spreading subshrub growing to 30 cm. The leaf blade of the leaves is leathery, 25–75 mm long, 2 to 5 millimetres wide, oblong spatulate to lanceolate, obtuse with a pointed base. Flowering April-July1.
On dry stony slopes, most often on calcareous habitats in the highland belt2.
In the mountains Western and Central Stara Planina, Rila, Pirin, Western Rhodopes; from 1500 to 2300 meters altitude3.
