Herbaceous perennial or biannual plant. Stems 10-80 cm high. Flowering April - June [Delipavlov et al., 2003].

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: The Black Sea coast, Znepole Region, The Struma Valley, The Slavianka, The Rila, Sredna gora (Western), Thracian Plane, The Rhodopes (Western and Middle) [Delipavlov et al., 2003].
