Description and identification

Cystopteris fragilis is a perennial herbaceous ferns, 10-50 cm tall¹.

Habitat

Through the shady stony and other semi-humid and humid places of the oak, beech and coniferous forests in the lowlands, foothills and in the mountains up to 2200 m altitude (Rila) and 2300 m altitude (Pirin)².

Distribution in Bulgaria

Throughout the country up to 2300 m altitude³.
