Description and identification

Perennial herbaceous plant. Height up to 2,5 m. Flower heads 5 to 8 cm across. Flowering May - September^[1].

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: The Black Sea coast, Thracian Plane, The Predbalkan, The Danubian Plain, Stara Planina (middle), Znepole Region, The Rhodopes (west), The Tundzha Hilly Plane and North-Eastern Bulgaria^[2].

General distribution

South and Central Europe and Asia^[3].
