Perennial herbaceous plant that reaches a height of 45-100 cm. Flower heads are single¹.

Habitat

In grassy places².

Distribution in Bulgaria

Western and Central Stara Planina, Vitosha, Pirin, Rila, Western Rhodopes and Osogovo; from 1500 to 2800 meters altitude^3.

General distribution

Balkan Peninsula, Romania and Ukraine⁴.
