Herbaceous perennial plant. The stem (15-) 20-40 (-60) cm high. Compound umbel with 3-9 rays, without or with 1-4 bracts. Flowers with 5-8 bractlets. The lowermost main leaf lobes of the leaves are as long as they are wide. Flowering June-August1.
On dry stony and grassy places, on rocks and in light mainly pine forests, exclusively on calcareous terrain in the mountains2.
In the Middle Stara Planina, Slavyanka, Pirin, Middle and Western Rhodope mountains; between 900 and 2100 m alt3.
