Description and identification

Moehringia trinervia is perennial herbaceous plant, growing from 15 to 150 cm in height.

The upper leaves are ovate or broadly elliptic, 3–15 mm wide, and ciliate at the margins.

The petals of flowers are significantly shorter than the sepals — up to two-thirds of their length.

Flowering June-September^1.

Habitat

Shady mountain forests, thickets, and streamsides².

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the whole country; to 2500 meters altitude³.
