Description and identification

Parentucellia latifolia is an annual herbaceous plant, 3.5-38 cm high. Flowering April-May¹.

Habitat

On sandy, stony and grassy places in bushes and artificial forest plantations².

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the whole country up to 1200 m altutude³.

General distribution

Southern Europe (north to Northwest France), Mediterranean, Caucasus, Southwest Asia. Introduced to Australia⁴.
