Herbaceous perennial plant, 15-30 cm high. Flowering July - September.

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: The Predbalkan, Stara Planina, Vitosha Region, Znepole Region, West Frontier Mountains, The Belasitsa, The Slavianka, The Pirin, The Rila, Sredna gora and The Rhodopes (west and middle) [Delipavlov & al., 2003].
