Description and identification

Perennial plant. Stems are up to 40 cm high. Flowering June - August^[1].

Habitat

Wet meadows and stream edges^[2].

Distribution in Bulgaria

Found in the following floristic regions: Stara Planina (west and central), Znepole Region, West Frontier Mountains, Vitosha Region, The Rila, The Pirin, The Belasitsa and The Rhodopes (west and middle). Between 1200 and 2100 m meters above sea level^[3].

General distribution

Europe, Asia and North America^[4].
