Herbaceous perennial plant. Height 0,3 - 1,3 m. Flowering May - August.

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: Stara Planina (middle and west), Znepole Region, The Rhodopes (west), West Frontier Mountains, Sofia Region, The Pirin, The Rila, Sredna gora and Vitosha Region; between 700 - 2200 m altitude. [Delipavlov et al., 2003].
