Sesleria latifolia is a tuft-forming perennial herb. Stem to 50 cm high. Spikes 3-5.5 cm long, up to 12 mm thick, not very dense, dark purple. Flowering May-June1.
Throughout the country from sea level to 1500 meters above sea level2.
