Perennial herbaceous plant high to 1 m. Flowering May - June.

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: The Black Sea coast, North-Eastern Bulgaria, The Danubian Plain, The Predbalkan, Stara Planina (middle and east), West Frontier Mountains, Znepole Region, The Struma Valley, The Rhodopes (middle and east) and The Tundzha Hilly Plane [Delipavlov et al., 2003].
