Description and identification

Cephalanthera longifolia is an perennial herbaceous plant, 20 to 50 cm tall. Flowers white, without spur. Bracts, at least in the upper and middle flowers, are shorter than the ovary. The leaves are lanceolate to narrowly lanceolate. Blooms June-July^[1].

Distribution in Bulgaria

It is found in all floristic regions from sea level to 1000 meters above sea level^[2].
