Description and identification

Evergreen shrub or small tree. Height up to 2 m. The leaves are simple, leathery, evergreen. Flowering April - May¹.

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic region: The Black Sea coast, The Struma Valley, The Pirin, The Rhodopes (east), The Tundzha Hilly Plane and The Strandzha [Delipavlov et al., 2003].
