Description and identification

Herbaceous perennial plant to 0,2 m tall. Leaves are brown spotted, ovate to lanceolate and grow in pairs. Flowers with 6 petales, up to 4.5 cm long. Flowering season: February - May.

Distribution in Bulgaria

The species is distributed throughout the country. Between 0 and 1400 m a.s.l. (Delipavlov et al., 2003).
