Herbaceous perennial plant. Flowering February - April.

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: The Black Sea coast, North-Eastern Bulgaria, The Predbalkan, Stara Planina (Eastern), Sofia Region, The Pirin (Southern), Thracian Plane, The Tundzha Hilly Plane and The Rhodopes (Middle end Eastern) [Delipavlov et al., 2003].
