Description and identification

Perennial herbaceous plant. The leaves of the sheath (spata) consist of two leaflets - longer than the inflorescence. Stems 30 to 60 cm high. The bulb is ovoid. Flowers with stamens shorter than perianth petals. Perianth petals are pink or dirty greenish-brown. Flowering June-July[1].


Habitat

Grassy places and bushes[2].
