Shrub. Stems 30-70 cm high. Flowering May - July [Delipavlov et al., 2003].

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: Stara Planina (Eastern and Middle), The Slavianka, The Pirin, The Tundzha Hilly Plane, The Strandzha, The Rila, The Rhodopes, Thracian Plane and Sredna gora (Western) [Delipavlov et al., 2003].

General distirbution

Balkan endemic species - Bulgaria and North Greece [Kozhucharov, 1976].
