Description and identification

Spiny shrub. The stem is to 20 cm high. The leaves are even pinnate. Flowering May-July^[1].

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: Stara Planina (east), Znepole Region, The Struma Valley (northern), The Pirin, The Rhodopes (middle and eastern) and The Tundzha Hilly Plane^[2].

General distribution

South-East Europe, the Caucasus and Asia minor^[3].
