PROTECTED species in Bulgaria - enlisted in Appendix 3 of Bulgarian Biodiversity Act.

Description and identification

Herbaceous annual or perennial plant. Flowering July - August. Stems are 4-5 cm high [Delipavlov et al., 2003].

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the following phytogeographic regions: Stara Planina (middle), The Rila, The Pirin, The Slavianka, The Tundzha Hilly Plane, The Mesta Valley, The Rhodopes (west and middle) and Thracian Plane. Between 0 and 2000 m altitude [Delipavlov et al., 2003].

General distribution

Bulgarian endemic [Delipavlov et al., 2003].
