Perennial plant. Stems ascending at base, branched, 50–100 cm long, glabrous or pubescent. Leaves opposite, ovoid, 3–7 × 1–3.5 cm, glandular-pubescent, with 3–5 veins, ciliate. Inflorescences lax branched panicles with firm branches. Flowers small, petals 5.5–6 mm long, white, pale pink, sometimes red. Fruit a rounded capsule, 3–4 mm. Flowering August-September. Insect pollination. Reproduction by seeds[2].
In the next floristc regions: North-Eastern Bulgaria and The Black Sea coast; up to 100 m[3].
