Description and identification

Herbaceous perennial plant 5 to 20 cm tall. Leaves glabrous (without hairs). The anthers are free. Flowering July - August^[1].

Habitat

In mountain and high mountain pastures and meadows, mainly on silicate terrains^[2].

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the mountains Sredna Stara Planina, Vitosha (around Selimitsa Peak), Osogovska, Pirin (North and Middle), Rila, Western and Middle Rhodopes, from 1700 to 2700 meters above sea level^[3].

General distribution

Bulgarian endemic^[4].
