Description and identification

Herbaceous perennial plant. Flowering June-August. Height 10 - 30 cm. Ovary with white warts^[1].

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: Stara Planina, Znepole Region, West Frontier Mountains, Vitosha Region, The Rila, The Pirin, The Belasitsa, The Rhodopes (west and middle) and The Slavianka; between 700 and 2500 m altitude^[2].

General distribution

Balkan endemic^[3].
