Description and identification

A biennial herbaceous plant, 30 to 120 cm tall.

Flowering May-July¹.

Habitat

Meadows, glades, scrubland, on dry grassy and stony, most often silicate terrains, on shallow, always poorly developed soils, in the plains, in the foothills and mountains in the oak belt².

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the whole country; 200 to 900 meters altitude³.
