Asyneuma pichleri is an herbaceous perennial plant. Stems 30-80 cm tall, erect. Flowering June-August¹.

On shady grassy and stony places, on silicate and calcareous terrains, in the coniferous belt².

It grows in the mountains Slavyanka, Northern and Middle Pirin, Rila (mainly in the western parts), from 1700 to 2100 meters altitude³.

Balkan Peninsula (Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro). Balkan endemic⁴.
