Annual or biannual herbaceous plant up to 100 cm high. Flowering April - June.

Distribution in Bulgaria

In tn the next floristic regions: North-Eastern Bulgaria, The Predbalkan, Stara Planina, Vitosha Region, The Struma Valley, The Belasitsa, Thracian Plane, The Rila, Sredna gora, Znepole Region, The Mesta Valley and The Rhodopes; up to 1000 m above sea level [Delipavlov et al., 2003].
