Description and identification

Cardamine impatiens is an annual or biennial herbaceous plant. The stems are 25 to 70 cm high. The leaves with auricles. Petals 2-4 mm long, slightly longer than the sepals. Flowering April-May.^[1]

Habitat

Shady, humid forests.^[2]

Distribution in Bulgaria

It grows in the following floristic regions: Predbalkan, Stara Planina, Znepol region, Vitosha region, Western border mountains, Rila, Belasitsa, Western and Middle Rhodopes; from 400 to 1500 m altitude.^[3]
