Balkan Yellow Rocket
Barbarea balcana Panč.
NOT protected species in Bulgaria.
Herbaceous perennial plant 25 to 60 cm (10-24 in) tall. The leaves are lyrate-pinnatifid, terminal leaflet ovate. The inflorescence is a corymbose raceme. Flowering season: June-August[1].
Wet mountain meadows and streams in the high mountain belt[2].
Found in the following mountains: Rila, Pirin, Stara Planina (western and middle), The Rhodopes (western and middle) and West Frontier Mountains; between 1600 and 2200 m (≈5250-7200 ft) altitude[3].
