Herbaceous perennial plant. Stem is 20 - 30 cm. Flowering April - May [Delipavlov et al., 2003].

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: North-Eastern Bulgaria, The Predbalkan, Stara Planina, Znepole Region, Vitosha Region, The Rhodopes, The Pirin, The Belasitsa and The Rila; between 600 - 1800 m altitude [Delipavlov et al., 2003].
