Description and identification

Herbaceous perennial plant to 1,2 m tall. Flower heads bent down with five purple flowers. Flowering season: July-September^[1].

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: Stara Planina, Sredna gora, Znepole Region, West Frontier Mountains, Sofia Region, Vitosha Region, The Rila, The Pirin^[2] and The Rhodopes (West)^[3]; between 800 and 2300 m altitude^[4].
