Leontodon rilaensis Hayek.
NOT protected species in Bulgaria.
Herbaceous perennial plant, 5 to 25 cm tall. Leaves linear, glabrous. Flower head single on top of the stem. Involucre with spirally arranged black bracts covered with long and curly black hairs. Flowering (July) August-October[1].
In the marshy and peaty meadows and near the lakes in the high mountain belt[2].
In the Rila, Pirin, Middle Stara Planina and Vitosha Mountains, between 2000 and 2500 meters above sea level[3].
