Description and identification

Perennial herb 10 to 50 cm tall. The flower heads borne in lax spike. Flowering season: July-September^[1].

Distribution in Bulgaria

It is found in the following floristic regions: Predbalkan, Stara Planina, Sredna Gora, Vitosha, Western Border Mountains, Rila, Pirin, Belasitsa, Slavyanka, Znepolski, Strandzha and Rhodopes; up to 2000 meters above sea level^[2].
