Herbaceous perennial plant. Flowering June - September. Height up to 180 cm.

Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: Vitosha Region, Stara Planina (west and middle), The Rhodopes (west and middle), The Belasitsa, The Struma Valley, The Pirin, The Rila and West Frontier Mountains. Between 1000 and 2500 m altitude (Delipavlov et al., 2003).
