Description and identification

A perennial herb, stems that are (10) 20-40 (60) см tall. Flowering July-August¹.

Habitat

On stony and rocky places in the mountains².

Distribution in Bulgaria

Western and Central Stara Planina, Vitoshka region, Znepolsky region, Belasitsa, Slavyanka, Pirin, Rila, Middle and Eastern Rhodopes, Sredna Gora, from (500) 1400 to 2400 (2900) meters altitude³.

General distribution

Central (partially) and South-East Europe, South-West Asia (Bithynian Olympus)⁴.
