Description and identification

Physospermum cornubiense is a perennial herbaceous plant, 50 to 100 cm high. Flowering June-August¹.

Habitat

Through thickets, broad-leaved (oak, beech, hornbeam) and mixed broad-leaved and coniferous forests, in meadows and forest clearings, in the foothills and mountains².

Distribution in Bulgaria

Throughout the country, up to 1700 meters³.

General distribution

Southern, Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Southwest Asia (Asia Minor)⁴.
