Herbaceous perennial plant. Stems are long up to 40 cm. Flowering February-May.


Distribution in Bulgaria

In the next floristic regions: The Black Sea coast, North-Eastern Bulgaria, Thracian Plane, The Tundzha Hilly Plane, The Strandzha, Znepole Region, West Frontier Mountains, The Struma Valley, The Mesta Valley, The Slavianka, The Pirin (south), The Rila, The Rhodopes and Stara Planina [Delipavlov et al., 2003]
